Pamela Whitfield - DGA - President, Whitfield Benefit Solutions
Born in Los Angeles in 1959, grew up in Florida, back to Los Angeles (attended UCLA in 1978) and then moved to Kodiak, Alaska in 1980. Moved to Seattle in 1983.
Started insurance career with Mutual of New York in 1995 in Bellevue, started a district from scratch with Aflac in 1996, winning more awards than any other rep in the region. Moved to Allstate Workplace in 2002, and then started the first Colonial Life District Office with Colonial Life in February of 2002.
Established the first and only Anchorage-based office for Colonial Life in 2013 in Midtown. Acquired 100 new Alaska accounts in the first three years and doubled sales in 2015 from $1,000,000 to over $2,000,000.
Pamela and her team strive to deliver award-winning service to hear clients and have not lost a client since establishing the agency in Alaska. Her unique approach to combining technology with compassion and personal service is what sets her apart from her competitors.
In addition, a deep care for Alaskans and their unique issues and her agency's commitment to the causes in Alaska (Covenant House, Beans Cafe, etc.) has the agency giving back to the community and those we serve.
